Over the next few days we will be updating the header to show a personalized greeting with your sign-in information. This is similar to the sign-in format used on various other parts of the site, such as the Search pages and Buy/Sell hubs. When you're signed in, you will see a "Hello, YourUserID!" message directly under the header, with a link right next to it that lets you quickly sign out.
This change will provide you with a consistent way to quickly check whether or not you are signed in to Members using multiple User IDs or shared computers will quickly be able to identify whether they are using the correct User ID. As your sign-in information will consistently appear at the same location in the header on all pages, you will always know where to find this information.

Please note: This change will not affect the sign-in process while it is being introduced. You can continue to sign in into as before. It will take a few days for the change to be implemented across the entire site. In the meantime, the greeting may appear on some pages but not on others until the rollout is complete.
