Наверное многие из вас знают сервис "US-Unlocked", предоставдяющий пополняемую амерокарту Visa с американским же биллингом.
На днях получил письмо такого содержания:
"Dear БлаБлаБла,
In the past few weeks the current issuing bank of the US Unlocked Card was being audited and as a result had closed those cards that had missing or incomplete KYC (know your customer) data on the side of the issuing bank Four Oaks.
The PATRIOT Act, the post-9/11 legislation, places a number of specific requirements on financial services companies. Four Oaks Bank and many other smaller banks are under scrutiny for complying to these stringent US government mandated bank regulations.
Despite US Unlocked's tireless efforts to provide Four Oaks Bank with whatever data they needed, other companies that use their card programs did not come forward the same way. For this reason the bank decided abruptly to terminate all their card programs.
I cannot express enough how devastated we are having to bring this news. At the current moment we are working around the clock to get a new card program in place through a different issuing bank. However it is not clear how soon we will be able to provide you with a new card.
If your card holds a positive balance and you have not been previously contacted by us regarding the above described card closures, you will be able to use this card until May 7th.
On May 8th, your card will be closed. If your card still holds a balance on that date we will contact you about the next steps.
US Unlocked has been proudly serving overseas buyers for 8 years now. Our solution is unique and innovative. This nature sometimes clashes with the unwieldiness of the US banking system and its cumbersome regulations. Many of our customers have been with us since the beginning and have weathered the storms with us. Nonetheless we are and always will be committed to being your partner to online shopping in the US.
We WILL be issuing new cards however we want you to know that you have an option to transfer out your funds if you feel more comfortable with that.
You can do so .
If you have a pending card load payment in your account, it will not clear until new cards can be issued. If you rather receive a refund, please contact us.
We are very much aware of the inconvenience this causes you. Please note that many of our partners provide personal shopping services. You may also contact us if we can help you out in the meantime in any way.
We hope to have more news about a new card for you by Wednesday of next week.

Если вкратце, то всвязи с аудитом банк закрывает свою карточную программу и все карты US-Unlocked будут закрыты 8-го мая. По-этому рекомендуется до 7-го мая потратить все деньги или скинуть их на ПэйПэл (интересно как это можно сделать для украинского PP) или на какую-нибудь другую карту.
У меня есть несколько вопросов к общественности:
1) Кто-нибудь ещё подобное письмо получал?
2) Что произойдёт и что делать, если один из текущих заказов будет отменён и рефанд придёт ПОСЛЕ 8-го мая (то есть уже на закрытую карту)?
Саппорт US-Unlocked-а очень тугой и отвечает очень неторопливо.
